Having grown from being a sole trader in 1976 Mirka Abrasives Limited is now a multi-million pound company, specialising in surface preparation systems. Servicing a number of specialist markets with trained technical and sales personnel. Mirka Abrasives Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of KWH Mirka Finland.

Today, Mirka is recognised as a global market leader in abrasive product and system innovation. From the development of paper and film backed abrasives to the revolutionary ‘dust free’ net sanding products of Abralon®, Abranet® and Autonet™, Mirka has evolved over the past 70 years to become one of the world’s largest specialist abrasive manufacturers.
This has been achieved by understanding the needs of the customer and developing surface preparation solutions to enable improved productivity. This focus, coupled with innovation, an investment programme in R&D and an outstanding modern production facility in Finland, means that Mirka is able to deliver a world class level of customer service and satisfaction.
